Make the Web Work for You
A Recent survey showed that this year over half of all A-level students have shunned university and plan to go straight to work or set up their own businesses. Now there’s no shame with living with your parents but it’s what you do whilst your living there that counts. From innovative too extraordinarily unbelievable and inspiring. I’ve listed just two of my favourite young entrepreneurs who made the web work for them.
Alex Frasier – At 16 launched a web theme modelled product with his business partner, 24-year-old Seth Waite called ‘ Blogussion. The site became an immediate success and is now the highest ranking blog by a 16-year-old on the Internet. Visit http://www.blogussion.com
Michael Dunlop – At 21 dropped out of school and began to develop websites, including the hugely successful RetireAt21.com. So where is Michael now? Well although he isn’t retired, he is making a six figure salary from his websites. His latest innovation IncomeDiary.com, has attracted well over 10,000 subscribers already. Well, I have done my homework and plenty of research on GradParade before joining! I noticed that they have extremely good contacts with a large variety of well-known companies all over the UK who are looking to start recruiting students! I personalised my own websites, created a CV site and made my portfolio within minutes! It was practically all prepared for me, I simply added text and images to create a professional CV, blog and portfolio! I enjoyed making it and I still enjoy updating it! Lastly, signing up to GradParade was definitely worth it and the customer service has been excellent!
